Whether you are interested in taking your youth group away or organising an activity weekend for a group of friends or colleagues; St. George’s House can provide you with the perfect setting close to beautiful sandy beaches and give you a homely base to pursue your aims for the weekend away together. With outdoor activities provided by our own staff, onsite play equipment and a meeting room with projector and comfy seating there is plenty to keep you occupied for the weekend. We even have free passes to our local beach car park! What better way to provide an opportunity to get to know each other better and create lasting memories?
During the school summer holidays and half terms time is available for your youth group or organisation to get away together and make full use of the house and activities. The house provides a relaxed setting and is a fantastic base for your holiday. Our staff team are also happy to assist you with much more than just outdoor activities.
The Old Rectory is a grand house with a well equipped kitchen, dining room and two comfortable lounges. It also contains the main accommodation, with both dormitories and smaller en-suite bedrooms, as well as bathroom facilities.
The Coach House was built in 2000 and has a large purpose built main meeting room and other rooms suitable for small group activities or as further bedrooms required, along with bathroom and kitchen facilities.
The activities available on the Saturday include: Surfing, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Coasteering, Mountain Biking, Archery and Fencing plus many more.
The meeting facilities are well designed for group presentations or films and our on site staff team are around to help support you throughout your stay.
St. George's House host a variety of weekend groups including church youth groups, men's weekends, revision weekends and university groups.
The youth groups and other organisations that come to us at these times tend to return year on year and we benefit from being able to really get to know each group over the years.
St. George’s House is a Christian Centre with a warm welcome extended to every group no matter what your background. Combine exciting activities with relaxing on the beach, whole group games with small group discussions and a great opportunity for you to get to know individuals better.
